This project is centred on the effects of bad management in today’s society. Besides the purpose of the study is to find out the eduerse effects which bad management had created in our society today.
To this effect however, a lot of findings were made during the study. Beside. It was found that bad management lead to the scarcity of material in our society and this created economical effects. Also it was found that bad management is the sole causes of liquidations and bankruptcy of most firms in our society. Thus creating social and economical effects to the society.
Furthermore, it was observed that unemployment which the society suffers today is as a result of mismanagement in our society and this. I were made to understand that poor administration in most communities results under development of these communities and this results at social effect in the society. Infact a lot of effects were observed caused by poor managing of the society ranging fr om social. Economical and political effects. In addition recommendations were made to check and stop automatically the problems of bad management and its adverse effects in our sociery.
However, it was recommended that skilled mangers should be employed and allowed to control and manage our fims to avoid liquidations and banvriatky als o it was recommended that human monetary and material resources should be employed and combined to increase productivity in order to check scarcity to goods and service in our society. Furthermore, government should make adeavate provisions for the unemployed to be employed to limit unemployment in the society.
Another recommendation that grod feanny people should be be appointed leaders of the communities to avoid embezzlement of community funds were made too mention but a few.
Finally, this study is presented in three chapters for easy reading and each chapter has its specific theme, lastly; the recommendations were made to tackle the problems for bad management and it’s a duerse effect found in our society today.
CHAPTER ONE
INTRODUCTION
BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
It is worthy to commence the diece of work knowing what MANAGEMET or MANAGERIAL PROFESSON stand for. This is the profession of trained personnel who have acquired managerial skills of administration plus enough knowledge experience in office work. To be able to cope with simple office tools and machinery.
However, management has been viewed or given different interpretions by different people or bodies. For instant it can simple refer to the process the mangers follow to accomplish organization goal. Again it be used or efferred toa as a body of knowledge.
Furthermore, according to denyen J.C in his book titled “principles of management” say that management can be the term used to pinpoint those individuals who guide and direct organizations it is also commonly used to designate a career devoted to the task of guiding and directing organizations.
In addition management is defined as the process of reaching organizational goals by working with and through people and other organizational resources. From the above views ro definitions. One can say that the management of any given organization is an indispensable tool for the achievement of its goals and objectives.
Besides management functions are carried out by people caked managers. This is seen form danyen JCS definition of management sated above. These individual known as managers have been known for their experiences maturity neat physical appearance an ability to communication efficiently moreover, they are genue people this precisely make them to tolerate other’s religious beliefs short comings and ideas rendered by managers to their different employers they are still subjected from one mal-treatment or another. Some of these are:-
(i) They are not well remunerated
(ii) The female one’s (manageress) are sometimes harassed by their male employers.
